What is a revision sheet?
A revision sheet sums up a lesson on one page: the rule or idea, what to learn by heart, examples and the mistakes to avoid. Children read it before a test, use it to recite, and keep it for end-of-year revision. A good sheet does not copy the lesson: it condenses it so the essentials stick in a few minutes.
How to make a good revision sheet
- One topic per sheet.
- Start from the lesson plan: its headings become the parts of the sheet.
- Keep it short: short sentences, key words in colour.
- One example for each rule.
- Note the traps: the most common mistakes.
- Finish with “Remember”: a few sentences to learn by heart.
A complete revision sheet, then an exercise sheet
Every Kidibook sheet has three printable pages: the revision sheet (key ideas, the lesson part by part with examples, points to remember, common mistakes and a memory tip), the exercise sheet (12 exercises in three levels and a challenge) and the answers on a separate page.
How to use revision sheets
- Read the sheet the same evening, the next day, then a week later: spaced repetition is the best way to remember.
- Get quizzed: a parent asks, the child answers without looking.
- Redo the exercises without the answers a few days later.

Frequently asked questions
Is the revision sheet really free?
Yes. Each connection gets 10 free sheets, shared between revision sheets and book report sheets, with no email and no sign-up. Each one includes the revision sheet, the exercise sheet and the answers.
What is a revision sheet?
A one-page summary of a lesson: the idea, what to learn by heart, examples and the mistakes to avoid.
Which lessons does it cover?
Any school topic from age 5 to 18. If a topic is beyond your child’s age, it is explained simply and we tell you so.
Are the answers reliable?
We take care over every rule and every answer, but a mistake is always possible: have a look at the answers before giving the sheet to your child.
What happens to what I type?
The subject, topic and age are only used to prepare the sheet. We don’t ask for any personal data. Your IP address is only used to count your sheets: it is stored in a scrambled form, never in plain text.
